BURGERSFORT – Tubatse Cricket Club and Highlands College held a joint practice session at the Highlands College ground in Burgersfort. The session brought together players from both the club and the college, focusing on improving cricket techniques and physical fitness. Coach Usman Ayoub Rao, who led the training, shared advanced cricket techniques with the players.
Speaking to Southern Africa Eye News, Coach Rao said he is committed to youth development through sports.”I am working to keep the youth busy in sports activities, to keep them physically fit and to keep their minds sharp for both sports and their studies,” he said.The practice session forms part of ongoing efforts to promote cricket and active lifestyles among young people in the Tubatse area.
