GABORONE – September 16th 2026. The Cuban Ambassador to Botswana, Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre, participated tonight in the State Banquet hosted by President Duma Gideon Boko in honor of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, who is paying an official visit to Botswana.
The event was a propitious occasion for the Cuban diplomat to interact and socialize with some Botswana government leaders and other personalities and colleagues, among those Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi, presidencial envoy for Internacional Relations and Economic Development of the Republic of Botswana.
