Israeli military operations across the occupied West Bank have intensified in recent days, coinciding with Gaza’s struggle to recover from severe storm damage that has compounded an already dire humanitarian situation.

Witnesses reported raids in multiple West Bank cities, including overnight arrests, home searches, and clashes with residents. Israeli officials described the operations as security measures targeting suspected militants, while Palestinian sources accused forces of collective punishment.

Meanwhile, Gaza continues to grapple with the aftermath of powerful storms that flooded shelters, destroyed makeshift housing, and displaced thousands. Aid agencies warn that damaged infrastructure, combined with restricted access to essential supplies, has left many families exposed to worsening conditions.

Hospitals and emergency services in Gaza are reportedly overwhelmed, struggling to respond amid shortages of fuel, electricity, and medical supplies. International organizations have renewed calls for unrestricted humanitarian access.

The convergence of military escalation and environmental disaster has deepened concerns over civilian safety. Analysts warn that without de-escalation and increased aid, the humanitarian crisis could deteriorate further.

As diplomatic efforts remain stalled, civilians on both sides remain caught between violence and vulnerability.
