PRETORIA — High Commissioner of Pakistan to South Africa, Malik Muhammad Farooq, addressed cadets at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation DIRCO-ZA Diplomatic Academy during an interactive session this week.
The High Commissioner shared insights on Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities and perspectives on current regional and global developments. He highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to peace, multilateralism, and economic diplomacy.
He also spoke on the growing Pakistan–South Africa ties, noting the potential for enhanced cooperation in trade, education, and people-to-people exchanges. The session provided cadets an opportunity to engage directly on diplomatic practice and bilateral relations.
The interactive engagement forms part of DIRCO’s program to expose future diplomats to perspectives from resident missions in South Africa.
