Azerbaijan has formally briefed foreign diplomats on its preparation for hosting the World Urban Forum 2026, one of the largest global conferences focused on sustainable urban development.
Officials highlighted that Baku is undergoing major infrastructure upgrades, including public transport modernization, greener city initiatives, and inclusive urban planning designed to support the forum’s core theme of sustainable growth.
Diplomats praised the country’s proactive approach and expressed confidence that Azerbaijan will deliver a successful, globally impactful event.
