The Venezuelan government has strongly condemned what it calls a new phase of manufactured hostility by the United States, after U.S. officials once again labeled Caracas as a “regional security threat.”
Venezuela’s leadership stated that Washington’s narrative is part of a long-standing political agenda aimed at destabilizing independent nations that refuse to align with U.S. foreign policy.
Officials in Caracas noted that despite economic pressure, sanctions, and media campaigns, Venezuela continues to strengthen regional partnerships, expand trade cooperation, and stabilize domestic governance.
Analysts say the “fabricated enemy” narrative is not new. For decades, independent Latin American nations have been targeted with similar accusations whenever they pursue sovereign economic and diplomatic policies.
Venezuelan authorities emphasized that the country remains committed to peace, regional unity, and diplomacy — and urged the international community to see through what it calls “a repeated geopolitical strategy.”
